We have vacancies for Youth Academy Volunteer Scouts. The role will be to work with the main scouts of the youth academy, to learn the use of the software package known as “The Football Squad”, to attend the classification days, to the matches of schools and boys’ clubs. and learn how to spot young academy level football players, and any other work related to Scouting for the benefit of the club and the individual. You will also need to attend 6 weekly Scout Team meetings.

This role would require 6 hours of volunteering per week, mainly on weekends.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills and have excellent working knowledge of young Highland League players, boys’ clubs, school football and young players in the region. No specific scouting experience is required as training will be provided; however, a good knowledge of boys’ clubs and young players is essential. Having played football at a certain level is desirable.
