Ardrossan Winton Rovers Youth Academy Announces Coerver Training Partnership

ARDROSSAN Winton Rovers Football Club is not just a football club – it is also a community benefit society.

And that means the club’s core values are based on what’s best for the community the club serves.

The directors continue to develop the club to ensure it can be the best it can be and with this in mind the Youth Academy recently announced a partnership with Coerver, the global football coaching program inspired by the lessons of Wiel Coerver, a Dutch football coach. .

It is widely recognized as the best method of teaching football skills suitable for all ages, but especially for players aged 5-16 of all levels and their parents, coaches and teachers, which focuses on the development of individual skills and small group play, which is also endorsed and recommended by top football federations and game experts.

Academy Secretary Andy Fullarton said: “We worked hard to bring Coerver on because we knew the program helped the personal development of people within a football structure.

“Our players and coaches will receive monthly training sessions and coaching education from qualified Coerver coaches.
