Dalry Thistle unveils plans for a youth academy with boys’ and girls’ teams

Dalry Thistle has unveiled ambitious plans for a youth academy.

The North Ayrshire team want boys’ and girls’ teams across all age groups involved in the proposed new setup.

Now they are looking for existing youth teams in the area to sign up and start the exciting project.

The plan is to have a range of teams playing under the club with a common identity.

Dalry, who plays in the West of Scotland League, announced the news on his Facebook page earlier this week and is now calling on members of the public to get involved.

The club claim that many roles will need to be filled in order to meet the criteria needed to establish an academy.

These include, but are not limited to, President, Secretary, Treasurer, Child Protection Officer, Coaching Coordinator, and Social Media Officer.
