Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy opens registration for summer camp

Is your child a natural artist? Do they thrive on stage and enjoy a crowd?

If so, a summer of performing arts fun at Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy might be for them.

The arts education center offers 22 different camps for children aged eight to 18, from July 1 to August 12. The camps will focus on the fundamentals of singing, acting and movement, with participants learning production numbers, solos and monologues from a different musical. every week.

For students who prefer to have fun behind the scenes, the Technical Theater 101 camp will guide teens through the process of building sets, scenic painting, props, wardrobe, audio, lighting, execution team and scene management.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST:

Tuition is $395 per week. There is a 10% discount for each additional immediate family member from the same household and a 5% discount for students who sign up for three weeks of camp or more.

WHAT TIME IS IT :

Camps will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with free early drop-off at 8:30 a.m. and late pick-up until 4:30 p.m.
