ABU DHABI, 1st April, 2022 (WAM) — The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) Youth Council has organized a youth circle titled “Aviation 2050: Future Trends from a Innovative View” as part of the International Civil Aviation Leaders Program.

The youth circle brought together Salvatore Sciacchitano, President of the ICAO Council; and Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the GCAA, and a number of transport ministers and heads of aviation organizations from various countries.

The youth circle focused on the importance of youth empowerment in the aviation sector, capacity and skills building, as well as gender equality in the areas of aviation. Youth circles represent an important means of intellectual cultural exchange between generations and emphasize the soft power strategy to achieve a balanced economic presence.
