Indian Youth Congress holds protest against center against Pegasus Row

New Delhi: The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) staged a protest against the Center on the issue of the Pegasus spy on Saturday.

New York Times report says Israeli Pegasus spyware and missile system were ‘centerpieces’ of roughly $2 billion deal in advanced weapons and intelligence equipment between India and Israel in 2017.

IYC National Chairman Srinivas BV said the manner in which espionage and blackmail was carried out by the Pegasus software on opposition leaders, judges, media and other citizens is a very serious subject.

“The evidence of this has now come to the fore. India’s prime minister was busy buying Pegasus and spying while the unemployed stumbled and stuck in the race for ‘jobs’. Congress party leader Shri Rahul Gandhi had posed two questions to the government in July 2021, which the Prime Minister did not answer, but now reports have come out from the New York Times, and now the answer is pretty clear” , he alleged.
