Workers of the Youth Congress detained after their march to the Gherao PEB

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Youth Congress workers detained after marching to the Gherao Vocational Examination Board (Vyapam) in the state capital, Bhopal, on Thursday.

Youth Congress workers were protesting the recent leak of MP TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) paper and police officer recruitment exam results.

During the protest, the workers also held up slogans against the state government.

Youth Congress President Vikrant Bhuriya told the media that they locked the PEB door as they did not want Vyapam’s corrupt organization. Bhuriya claimed that it was the organization that ruined the future of the youngsters.

He further claimed that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s OSD Lakshman Singh Markam leaked the TFW document but no action was taken against him. On the other hand, irregularities occurred in the college of Minister Govind Singh Rajput but again no action was taken against him adding that he demanded termination of both.

“The Shivraj government has only offered corruption, unemployment and counterfeiting to young people and the public. We stand with the young people and we will keep our support until the end,” Bhuria said.

Earlier, the candidates gheroed the PEB office and demanded an investigation into the irregularities.
